I have been making clothes since I was a child. Costume and fashion is extremely important in storytelling as it creates a new character for the actor to inhabit. I always work as the costume designer on my films. As a child I was fascinated by the work of Edith Head and I try to keep her innovation and attention to detail in mind when designing and making clothes.
